Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete Your moonbelt account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This is operated by OriginMind Inc., the developer of the moonbelt app. You do not need an active subscription to delete Your account.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
Open the moonbelt app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This permanently removes Your account from our active systems.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If You no longer have the app installed, email privacy@moonbelt.ai from the email address linked to Your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will verify Your identity and process the request.
What gets deleted
The following data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days of Your request:
- Your profile (name, email, profile photo)
- Health Data (date of birth, gender, weight, height, goals, dietary restrictions, allergies, disliked ingredients, and cuisine preferences)
- Meal logs, meal photos, meal plans, voice input, and progress history
- Messages to the AI coach
- App usage and device data linked to Your account
What we retain, and for how long
For legal and accounting reasons, we keep a limited set of records after account deletion:
- Subscription and billing records: retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Records required to comply with legal obligations: retained only as long as the law requires.
These records are not used to re-identify You or to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
